The following general information applies to all orders:

Shipping Terms

All orders are F.O.B. Kirkland, Washington, U.S.A. Ownership of the software license transfers to the customer at the shipping point. Zemax, LLC does not cover insurance during transit. Customer is responsible for all duties, taxes, and insurance. Softkey licenses are only emailed unless the customer resides in a country that requires a physical shipment.

Delivery

Delivery date is dependent upon when payment is made. Once we have received payment and complete end-user information, we will process your order within one to three business days. Softkey license activation codes are emailed as soon as payment is processed.

End User License Agreement

Sales are subject to Zemax, LLC's End User License Agreement.

Prepayment is required. Payment options

Placing Current Support Orders

Current support orders include one year of support and upgrades via download from the web. This is a non-deliverable order. User information and key serial number are required to purchase current support. The key serial number can be obtained by running the software and pressing the F10 function key. A box will appear showing the key serial number. Current support orders are non-refundable and also non-transferable. Current support orders are processed within one to three business days. If you are renewing a support contract that has already expired, please allow up to three business days before you attempt to download the latest release of Zemax.

Placing Subscription Orders


Subscription orders include technical support over email and product updates (through downloads) for the length of the subscription term. This is a non-deliverable order. User registration information is required for purchase. Orders are processed within one to three business days. All subscription orders include the Productivity Assurance (PA) plan in the purchase price. PA for subscription software does not include a discount for Zemax training courses. The subscription must be renewed at the end of the term to maintain access to the product.

Placing Current Support with Productivity Assurance™ Orders

Current support with Productivity Assurance orders include one year of support and upgrades via download from the web. Productivity Assurance includes a one-time key replacement discount and a one-time training discount for the term of the support agreement; more details here. Productivity Assurance may only be purchased with a support plan. This is a non-deliverable order. User information and key serial number are required to purchase current support. The key serial number can be obtained by running the software and pressing the F10 function key. A box will appear showing the key serial number. Current support with Productivity Assurance orders are non-refundable and also non-transferable. Current support with Productivity Assurance orders are processed within one to three business days. If you are renewing a support with Productivity Assurance contract that has already expired, please allow up to three business days before you attempt to download the latest release of Zemax.

Return Policy

Zemax, LLC offers a 30-day return period on Zemax. Returns must be made within 30 days of invoice date. Zebase, Support, Upgrades and Custom Work are non-refundable. Short Course registrations are non-refundable, and registrations cannot be transferred to alternate class sessions.
